Maister® Power is a new, broad-spectrum post-emergence herbicide that is effective against annual and perennial broadleaf and grass weeds, including challenging species such as field bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis) and couch grass / johnsongrass (Sorghum / Elymus species).

Maister® Power is a unique herbicide that, thanks to advanced technology, unites three highly effective active ingredients and a safener into one innovative formulation.

In addition to its excellent "burndown effect" on the vegetative mass of weeds, the product also possesses soil-residual activity (via thiencarbazone-methyl), which prevents weed re-emergence throughout the entire crop growing season.

Mode of Action

The product's mechanism of action relies on blocking the acetolactate synthase (ALS/AHAS) enzyme, which halts amino acid synthesis and cell division at weed growth points. As a result, weeds immediately cease growth and stop competing with the crop plant.
